On Saturday 27 August there will be a large second-hand market in Museum de Kantfabriek

There are hundreds of second-hand books on textiles and handicraft techniques for sale. There is a book about all handicraft techniques. There are also books about regional history, mainly of Horst and the region. For a low price there are books that are no longer available in the store.

Handicraft enthusiasts can replenish their pantry for small prices and perhaps get inspiration for new work. Yarns, fabrics, edges, straps, tools, old textiles, tablecloths, bedspreads, embroideries, etc.

The Museum is normally open and you can also visit the temporary exhibition ‘Along Embroidered Roads‘, with beautiful embroidery from South China.

The market is open from 11:00 to 16:00.
